Hull KR were given the go ahead for the development of new strand with specific requirements. Eltherington Architectural supplied 3mm aluminium roofline and column casings for the full width of the stand’s main facade, to be architectural-grade, polyester powder coated to a specially formulated metallic finish. MCS were requested to engage with their suppliers in order to source a potential manufacturer of the powder. Upon obtaining various samples for submission MCS were awarded the order after the main architect approved the colour match. No other powder coating companies were able to suitably match Eltherington’s requirements.
